Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays use sensors instead of traditional photographic film. They produce highly detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, allowing your dentist to examine parts of the mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.
Digital X-rays emit substantially less radiation during the procedure than traditional ones. While there is a minimal risk of developing issues with any type of X-ray, a digital X-ray may provide patients with a little more peace of mind.
